Dhikala is one of the most popular sought after tourist accommodation in Corbett Tiger Reserve. Herd of elephants and spotted deers pack the vast expanse of famous Dhikala Chaur. This is probably the best place in the Tiger Reserve to spot very rare Hog Deer.

Your adventure begins with a scenic journey from the Dhangadi gate, where you'll traverse through lush flora, vast grasslands, dense Sal jungles, and meandering river channels.

The mix of old and new architecture at Dhikala Forest Rest House is a sight to behold, with the old rest house dating back to the British era.

Savor delicious buffet meals at the restaurant, offering a variety of quality food options.

NOTE: - There are four forest rest houses inside the Dhikala Zone for overnight stay of tourists, whose names are as follows: Sultan FRH, Gairal FRH, Sarapduli FRH, & Dhikala FRH. You will stay in any rest house but jeep safari will be same area in the Dhikala Zone.

ITINERARY

Day 01

You will be picked up at 12 noon from the boarding place which is Ramnagar.
Within 20 minutes we will reach at Dhangadi gate and then inside the forest rest house.
You will have lunch after check in, only vegetarian food is allowed for lunch
You will go for the evening jeep safari between 02:30 pm– 06:30 pm (Safari Timing Varies as Season Changes)
After jeep safari you will have dinner, overnight stay inside the forest rest house.

Day 2

Early morning wakes up, to do morning jeep safari between 05:30 am – 09:00 am (Safari Timing Varies as Season Changes)
You will have breakfast after the morning safari is over.
You will have lunch after some rest, only vegetarian food is allowed for lunch
You will go for the evening jeep safari between 02:30 pm– 06:30 pm (Safari Timing Varies as Season Changes)
After jeep safari you will have dinner, overnight stay inside the forest rest house.

Day 3

Early morning wakes up, to do morning jeep safari between 05:30 am – 09:00 am (Safari Timing Varies as Season Changes)
You will have breakfast after the morning safari is over.
You will have lunch after some rest, only vegetarian food is allowed for lunch
You will go for the evening jeep safari between 02:30 pm– 06:30 pm (Safari Timing Varies as Season Changes)

Day 4

After Breakfast you have to check out from the inside forest rest house.
You will be dropped up at 12 noon at Ramnagar from the inside forest rest house.

2. Once accommodation permit is generated, advance payment is not refundable.
3. Child below 5 Years will be complimentry.
4. Pets are not allowed inside the park.

Booking Proceedure

1. Names, Age, gender and id proof no. (Driving license / PAN card / Voter ID / passport ) of every person is required.
2. 50% Amount of total package cost, so that the application can be submitted.
3. Availability of rooms shall be confirmed 40 days prior to the date of arrival.
4. Balance payment to be deposited once we confirm the availability.
5. In case of non availability of rooms, advance payment will be refunded.
5. We are only making reservations for the rest house. We are not responsible for quality of services at the rest house which are operated by the forest department.

About FRH

1. Other than Dhikala & Gairal forest rest house, all the rest houses are do not have electricity. Power is provided by generators up till 10 pm.
2. Dhikala zone has its 4 rest houses, Dhikala, Gairal, Sarapduli & Sultan
3. Bijrani zone has two rest houses, bijrani and malani
4. There is option of dormitory available at gairal, Dhikala and bijrani rest house. In case some one is looking for economical option, dormitory can be provided.
5. In case of non availability of rooms,advance payment will be refunded.
